There will be multiple fan ballots to purchase tickets for the Lions 1888 Cup fixture, when the Lions take on Argentina in Dublin on 20 June 2025.
If you are not already signed up to the Lions fanbase, you can do so for free here.
The next ballot will open at 08:30AM on Tuesday 3 September 2024.
Any supporter who is a subscriber to the Lions Rugby fanbase can access the ballot. It’s simple to sign up here.
The ballot will close at 23:59PM on Monday 30 September 2024.
Tickets prices start from €120 for adults and €60 for juniors (under 16s).
All ballot winners were notified on or before Tuesday 17 October 2024. Notifications of success will start from Thursday 3 October 2024. If you are not successful, you will be automatically entered onto our list for any unclaimed tickets from the ballot. Should any tickets become available, we will notify you of the process and timings.
Digital tickets will be issued approximately one month before the match; physical, souvenir tickets are available to purchase for this match as part of your checkout process, if successful in the ballot. Please ensure you have the correct mobile and email address on your account when you complete your purchase.
Chances are dependent on the total number of people who enter the ballot.
There will be a minimum of 5,000 tickets available in the September 2024 ballot.
You will have the option to purchase a pair of tickets which will be seated together. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the ballot process, it will not be possible to purchase additional adjoining tickets.
You will be eligible to purchase two tickets (one pair).
No. However, when signing up to the ballot, you will be able to select your preferences for which category of ticket you would like. If successful in the ballot, we will allocate according to preferences as far as possible. We cannot guarantee first preferences.
When tickets are issued for sale, you’ll receive a dedicated purchase link with an access code to complete the transaction. Please note, in order to speed up the transaction, we recommend you set up an account with Ticketmaster.ie before the sale window opens. You will be required to have an account to complete your ticket purchase. You will receive your purchase link and access code ahead of the purchase window opening. This code will be specific to your details and cannot be forwarded on.
Please note, if you are successful in the ballot and you are purchasing your tickets, please ensure that you select the correct country associated to your billing address, this will help minimise delays in your purchase journey. You can do this at the checkout part of your transaction, the default country is Ireland. If your billings details are in another country, please ensure that you change this at this point.
Any unclaimed tickets will be released to an allocation to be released at a later date.
