Andy Robinson insists he is ‘thriving’ on the pressures that come with being England head coach.
Despite a turbulent opening period in charge since succeeding World Cup winner Sir Clive Woodward, Robinson believes he has got to grips with his post and is relishing the autumn showdowns.
Robinson told BBC Radio Five Live’s Sportsweek: "I am thriving on it, I know what it takes to be successful at this level and I am enjoying the interaction with the players and the coaches.
"The last month has sharpened me up and I am really looking forward to the autumn internationals – but ultimately it is not about me, it is about the players and we are driving them forward to be successful."
