British & Irish Lion Simon Taylor will miss Edinburgh Gunners’ Celtic League trip to the Ospreys on Sunday.
The number eight, who played an integral role in Scotland’s Six Nations Championship campaign, is struggling with a back injury.
But Chris Paterson, Scott Murray, Hugo Southwell, Marcus Di Rollo, Simon Webster, Mike Blair, Allister Hogg, Alastair Kellock, Craig Smith and Dougie Hall all return to the starting XV.
Edinburgh interim head coach Todd Blackadder said: "Simon tweaked his back but I’d like to think he’ll be back with us for our next match against Cardiff in two weeks.
"It has been a tough week for us selection-wise with our international players back in the frame. It has been a good week too and we are looking forward to going down to play last year’s champions.
"We’ve had plenty of time to prepare for this game because we knew the internationals would be back with us.
"The mood has been excellent this week and the attitude is awesome."
