Former All Black Carlos Spencer has been named Northampton’s player of the year.
Spencer produced a dazzling first season in the Premiership and inspired Saints’ qualification for the European Cup following a rocky start to the campaign.
The 30-year-old fly-half heads the nominations for the Professional Rugby Players’ Association player of the year award, with the winner announced on Wednesday night.
Saints head coach Paul Grayson said: "Carlos fully deserves this award.
"He is one of the most talented players to have ever picked up a rugby ball but is also a hard worker who has started all but two games this season."
