London Irish scrum-half Paul Hodgson has been handed a three-week ban for his dangerous tackle on Wasps winger Paul Sackey.
Hodgson pleaded guilty before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel for the challenge he made during the Guinness Premiership clash at Adams Park on September 8.
The suspension ends on October 10 and he will return for the Premiership showdown against Sale at the Madejski Stadium on October 15.
Hodgson was himself on the receiving end of a dangerous tackle against Harlequins at the start of the month.
That incident landed Quins’ England centre Stuart Abbott a three-week ban.
