New Zealand winger Doug Howlett is a serious doubt for the All Blacks’ European tour.
The veteran is set to be sidelined at least four weeks with a knee ligament injury picked up on Auckland’s 46-14 Air New Zealand Cup quarter-final win over Bay of Plenty at Eden Park.
The fitness of fellow All Black Ali Williams will be revealed later this week after a scan on his neck injury.
Auks coach Pat Lam could also be without centre Isaia Toeava (head), flanker Andrew Blowers (hamstring) scrum-half Steve Devine (hip) for the semi-final against Wellington.
