Springbok head coach Peter de Villiers has named an unchanged squad for the clash with Scotland at Murrayfield this Saturday.
The World Champions held off a spirited Welsh comeback to begin their UK tour with a narrow win in Cardiff last weekend and de Villiers has decided to give all 22 players another chance to impress.
The decision is unsurprising given that the Boks have just two more scheduled Tests between now and the start of next summer’s Lions series.
"We did not play to the standards we set ourselves, so the same guys have the opportunity to get it right this weekend and I trust them to do it,” said de Villiers.
”The guys are not suddenly bad players overnight. That is why there are no changes.”
Springbok skipper John Smit has publicly stated that he expects ‘a better performance’ from his players following their failure to kill off Warren Gatland’s Wales despite opening up a 17-poinht lead after 50 minutes.
Second row Bakkies Botha, who left the field at the Millennium Stadium with an eye injury, has recovered in time to claim his place in the side ahead of his replacement in Cardiff, Andries Bekker.
