There is huge disappointment when you look at the potential in our team to get a draw like that and under perform. Conditions can sometimes be used as an excuse and they were bad, but when you look at the talent that we have in the room I don’t think we didn’t play as well as we could. Conditions were the same for both teams and I think we needed to get a few extra scores in that middle 20 and get a bit clearer.
Want, hunger and desire should never be questioned and that was definitely there on Tuesday night but I think you need to play with a bit more smarts and we should have hitched on a few more scores and got clear.
Now it’s all about getting ready for Saturday – we all want to be in the mix and Saturday will be a huge test. The belief is there – it has to be there. We are looking at Saturday and we know there are areas we know we need to improve on but that last 20 minutes of the First Test gave guys belief. We know we can make teams suffer – we play a high tempo game with an awful lot of work rate and I think if we can do that gain then we will be in with a shout.
