Scott Johnson has hailed 2009 Lion Adam Jones after the Ospreys put Munster to the sword in the Heineken Cup.
Jones was at his dominant best against the red army and scooped the Man of the Match award for his powerful performance in the 19-15 Pool Three triumph.
"They were superb, Adam has been superb since he's been back," said Ospreys director of coaching Johnson.
"But the unsung hero in the middle Hibbard has done wonderfully well. As a scrummaging hooker I think he's without peer.
"All three of them have done wonderfully well and they set a platform and the tone for the game, so very, very happy."
The Ospreys remain third in the ‘pool of death’ but have closed the gap on Munster to a point and on group leaders Toulon to three. But the Welsh region’s European destiny remains very much in their own hands.
"The beauty of that is we play them and that gives us a control, so if we do our part there we're back in front of them," added Johnson.
"Our destiny is in our hands still and I like it that way. This week we were much more composed and there was a bit more clarity.
"Since the autumn we've only really had one hit-out together as a team because of the inclement weather.
"So we're a little disjointed, we're not where we want to be but we'll take where we are. We're happy but we're not delighted. We're happy because we got what we needed to get.
“But if nothing else they showed plenty of character, they had plenty of times on their line when they had to defend and they showed a really good quality."
"It's the part of the Welsh culture I really like, when their backs are to the wall they just fight and this team represented themselves really well in regard to that."
