HSBC is the co-title sponsor of the Hong Kong Sevens as well as the Principal Partner of the Hong Kong team.
The bank has developed a series of initiatives to encourage the local public to get behind the Hong Kong team and feel pride of the Hong Kong Sevens. One of these initiatives is the creation of a giant version of the Hong Kong team shirt, which will tour around schools and other places across Hong Kong to collect signatures and well-wishing messages for the Hong Kong team.
This week, Bill joined Wai Bei, the Hong Kong Team Mascot, at schools in Shatin and Tuen Mun and interacted with school children as they wrote good luck messages on the giant shirt. The Hong Kong Rugby Sevens squad is now training hard for the 2013 Cathay Pacific / HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, which takes place on 22 to 24 March.
