Lions Australia Tour 2013

We’ve got four great prizes up for grabs just for joining the Lions’ pride on Facebook and Twitter.

We’re giving away four copies of the Behind the Lions book, a collection of unique memories from Lions stars past and present.

Co-written by authors from all four Home Unions in Stephen Jones, Tom English, Nick Cain and David Barnes, Behind the Lions will certainly whet the appetite for what lies ahead this summer.

And you could win a free copy just by liking our Facebook page or by following us on Twitter before 5pm on Monday, March 18.

We’re giving away two copies on Facebook and two more on Twitter, with the winners randomly selected and notified next Wednesday.

And even if you don’t win this time, there will be plenty more chances for you to pick up Lions prizes and memorabilia over the coming months if you continue to keep up to date with Official Lions Rugby or follow @lionsofficial.

This year’s 10-match tour of Hong Kong and Australia is set to break new ground on and off the field as the rapid rise of social media adds an extra dimension to following Britain and Ireland’s elite Down Under.

Gone are the days of finding out the results of tour games in the following day’s newspaper – the advent of the internet went a long way to ensuring fans could be kept up to date almost immediately and the growth of Facebook and Twitter is now set to give you even greater access to all things Lions in 2013.

We’ll have behind the scenes action before and during the tour; exclusive daily social media material; plus plenty of pics of players, coaches and supporters living the Lions dream.

We’ll also be launching our brand new Lions app in the coming weeks, giving you the perfect platform to follow the Lions on your tablet or mobile phone.

More information on the Lions app will follow soon but, in the meantime, why not show your support and help create a #seaofred by getting involved on Facebook and Twitter right now. You never know, you could be reading your free copy of Behind the Lions next week.
