Stuart Hogg is ready to reap the rewards of his British & Irish Lions experience.
The utility-back was one of four Scotland players selected for the 125-anniversary tour of Hong Kong and Australia.
Hogg was hugely impressive in several mid-week matches, often slotting in at fly-half.
And despite not getting a taste of Test match action as the Lions claimed their first series triumph since 1997, Hogg is relishing returning to action with Glasgow Warriors and insists he returns as a better player.
"As much as I would have loved to have been involved with the Test Series team, I'm still coming back here a better player," said Hogg.
"I'm just looking forward to a rest now and then getting back into it with Glasgow. I'm looking forward to getting back into training.
"We got to the semi-finals last year and I'm hoping to do one better in the season ahead. I'm hoping to play a massive part in it."
Glasgow reached the PRO12 semi-finals last season where they were beaten 17-15 by Leinster.
