British & Irish Lions winger Simon Zebo admits 2015 has the potential to be "a massive year" as he looks to continue his push for a place on the tour of New Zealand.
Before the Lions turn their attentions to the All Blacks in 2017, however, Zebo has club and country matters with Munster and Ireland to occupy himself with.
And Zebo, who made three appearances for the Lions on their victorious tour Down Under against Australia in 2013, is relishing the big games to come.
“It’s a massive year,” he told the Irish Examiner.” The World Cup, Six Nations and Champions Cup.
“In the Champions Cup we need to get momentum, and if we take care of our big games, then selection in the bigger tournaments in the end will take care of itself.
“Every player has their own little goals but as long as I’m playing well for Munster and we’re winning, then I’m happy. The rest will take care of itself.
“We just need to get consistent and keep winning the big games because we haven’t done enough of it this season and we’ll all be putting our hands up for other selections.”
