British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton insists he has no time to waste after volunteering for extra training in the Wales camp.
Warburton played his part in the bruising 20-13 victory over France on Saturday, and the Wales squad were given an extended period to rest up by Lions head coach Warren Gatland.
However Warburton – who led the Lions against Australia in 2013 – put his name forward for extra work along with a number of other Welsh stars.
And the 26-year-old says he’d rather keep busy than put his feet up.
"We were given a few days off after France but it was good to see about eight to ten guys come in on their day off and volunteer for extras on Tuesday,” said Warburton.
"A lot of it was upper body, off the feet stuff to allow our legs to recover but it was good to get a session under our belts.
"We are back in training as a squad on Thursday and Friday which we are all looking forward to."
