Davies scored the last of the hosts’ five tries, with Owens turning in a man of the match display at hooker.
Owens himself had a try ruled out after TMO ruled his knee was in touch as he dotted down, but his all-round display was dominant, as were Scarlets.

Davies and Williams were part of a backline in fine form for the hosts, and showed they are in fine form ahead of the upcoming Tour of New Zealand.

Will Boyde, Steff Evans, Aaron Shingler and Johnny McNicholl also crossed for Scarlets, while Ospreys replied through Keelan Giles and Dan Baker.

British and Irish Lions coach Warren Gatland will have been buoyed by impressive performances from the members of his squad on display.

The result sets Scarlets, who finished third in the Guinness PRO12, against Leinster in the play-offs, while Ospreys finish fourth and take on Munster.

The win was a also fitting send-off for Williams, who will be joining up with Aviva Premiership outfit Saracens for the 2017-18 season.

Fellow British and Irish Lions squad members Rhys Webb, Justin Tipuric and Dan Biggar were also on the field for the Ospreys, but their efforts could not prevent the defeat.
