A host of British & Irish Lions have been named in the Ireland and England squads for the upcoming Autumn Internationals.
Ireland Head Coach Joe Schmidt included ten tourists from the squad that toured New Zealand in the summer, and 13 Lions in total.
Hooker Rory Best was named as captain while Cian Healy, Tadhg Furlong, Iain Henderson, Jack McGrath, Sean O’Brien, Peter O’Mahony, CJ Stander, Keith Earls, Robbie Henshaw, Rob Kearney, Conor Murray and Johnny Sexton were also selected.
Ireland will face South Africa, Fiji and Argentina on consecutive weekends beginning on November 11.
England Head Coach Eddie Jones named a total of 11 Lions in his squad with Elliot Daly, Anthony Watson, Owen Farrell, Jonathan Joseph, Ben Youngs, Maro Itoje, George Kruis, Courtney Lawes, Dan Cole, Jamie George and Mako Vunipola making the selection. Ten of that group toured New Zealand while Ben Youngs was originally selected in the squad but then forced to pull out for personal reasons.
Joe Marler, Jack Nowell, Kyle Sinckler, Ben Te’o, Manu Tuilagi and Billy Vunipola were among those not considered due to injury or suspension.
England will face Argentina, Australia and Samoa in their November window, with the first fixture on November 11.
