Springbok stalwarts Bakkies Botha and Bryan Habana have been ruled out of South Africa’s two Test matches with Scotland in June.
Both players were injured in the Bulls’ 31-15 loss to the Crusaders in their Super 14 semi-final.
Botha has sustained an Achilles injury while Habana has stretched an ankle ligament.
"We will be able to do a scan when we return home, but at the moment it looks as if they will be out for at least four weeks," Bulls team doctor Tommie Smook said.
The loss is a big blow to Bok coach Jake White, who has already lost CJ Van der Linde and Andre Pretorius to injury.
