South Africa centre Marius Joubert has suffered another injury setback.
Joubert, who has not been part of the Springbok set-up for almost a year now, had only just recovered from a wrist operation when he damaged ankle ligaments while training with the Western Province squad this week.
According to the team’s medical personnel it will be a fortnight before he can begin to train again.
The injury is the latest blow for Joubert who, having been named as one of the five IRB Players of the year in 2004, missed almost all of 2005 with a lower back problem.
