South Africa coach Jake White has called in four uncapped players to his squad to tour England and Ireland next month.
Springbok Sevens captain Jaco Pretorius, 19-year-old Sharks fly-half Francois Steyn, South Africa Under-21 loose forward Hilton Lobberts and Cheetahs fullback Bevin Fortuin will go on the three-game tour.
White recalled 36-year-old lock Johan Ackermann, who has not played since 2001, while also opting to rest Percy Montgomery, Victor Matfield and veteran prop Os du Randt ahead of next year’s World Cup.
