Prop Tony Woodcock is to return home early from New Zealand’s tour of Great Britain and Ireland.
Woodcock, who started in the 23-19 victory over England, will leave because of a ‘family medical emergency’.
He will not rejoin the squad, and the All Blacks management have no plans to summon a replacement ahead of next Saturday’s tour finale against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Victory over the Scots would see New Zealand complete a first grand slam tour since 1978.
