British & Irish Lions full-back Stuart Hogg admits he is looking forward to the challenge facing him when he turns out for Scotland Sevens at the Commonwealth Games this weekend.
The 22-year-old featured five times for the British & Irish Lions on last year’s tour of Australia, scoring 23 points.
But he will be making only his second appearance for Scotland in Sevens when they face New Zealand, Canada and Barbados in Pool A at Ibrox Stadium.
“Playing sevens is a massive challenge, but one all the boys are looking forward to,” Hogg told the Glasgow Warriors website.
"We've trained well over the last couple of weeks and we're not taking this opportunity for granted, it's a massive occasion and we've got to buy into it.
“We've got a job to do and we'll need to go out there and work incredibly hard for each other. The main thing is we enjoy ourselves and enjoy the occasion and I'm really looking forward to it."
