Following success with the British & Irish Lions and Ireland, Rory Best is turning his attentions to club rugby in search of more silverware.
The Ulster hooker, who joined Warren Gatland’s touring party to Australia in place of Dylan Hartley, made four Lions appearances Down Under.
And fresh off the back of that triumph, Best helped Ireland produce the perfect international send-off for fellow Lion Brian O’Driscoll this month.
Now the 31-year-old returns to Ulster with an eye on lifting both the RaboDirect PRO12 title and the European Cup with the Irish province.
"We need to bring that confidence back in with us and harness it,” Best told the Belfast Telegraph.
"Obviously we have to make sure that we're not a little bit over the top with it, but I think – especially from an Ulster point of view – a little bit of confidence isn't a bad thing because too many times we've been almost apologetic for being good.
"I don't think we need to be apologetic any more. We're good because we have good players, but we also have good players who work hard to try and be the best they can."
