Noel Henderson played a key role on the 1950 Lions Tour to New Zealand and Australia as he scored eight tries in 15 matches while also playing the third Test against the All Blacks.
Despite being a centre by trade, the Irishman featured on the wing in that match against New Zealand and also went on to play at full-back later in his career.
Henderson, who married the sister of Lions team-mate Jack Kyle, won 40 Ireland caps in a storied 11-year international career with the highlight being his decisive try in the 9-6 win over Australia in January 1959.
