Scottish wing Edward Taylor was part of The British & Irish Lions squad that toured Argentina in 1927.
Though he missed the first Test, he went on to start all of the next three – his crowning moment coming with a hat-trick of tries in a 34-3 victory in Buenos Aires.
Taylor won two caps for Scotland 10 months apart, against Wales and then Australia.
He died in September 1959, aged 52.
